If you can see the the reverse turn the leaders hand touches the followers shoulder to help her be aware that it is not a full turn but half finishing with her facing the opposite way than she was. The shoulder tap replicates the motion of the feet. Watch the follower how she steps twice with the same foot with a tap that allows her to change her leading leg briefly to the left on 1. Following the same method back in the turn she is able to then smoothly switch back to her leading leg on the right side when facing her partner again.
