Jimmy Dore Blames Media For His Own Ignorance Of Rittenhouse Trial
Published at : November 23, 2021
Jimmy Dore is blaming the mainstream media for a misconception he had of the Rittenhouse trial. He believed that Rittenhouse's victims were black, and he thinks the media is spreading this falsehood. Meanwhile, if he had done five seconds of research he would have seen pictures of the victims Rittenhouse shot and killed.

Matt: youtube.com/mattbinder. But I went live on Tuesday on twitch. tv and I broke down that Jimmy Dore segment on the Kyle Rittenhouse trial. And how apparently the mainstream media completely failed everyone because Jimmy Dore didn't pay much attention to the case. And he had originally thought that the people Kyle Rittenhouse shot were black. And that's apparently the mainstream media's fault that he didn't, you know, click a link and look at the pictures of the people that were. That's what all these guys are saying because none of them paid attention to this case. None of them cared enough to pay attention. so they think that because they didn't do the work of clicking a link the mainstream media failed them.
Matt: Well all that they're interested in is branding themselves as opposed to mainstream media anyway.
Emma: Yeah yeah it's all about how the liberal media just wants you to think that the police thought right thought police. Like of course these guys weren't even black. like they want to tell you he's a racist he didn't even kill black people.
Matt: Right right which of course is the necessary part of him going down to a black lives matter rally to protest whatever you want to call it with a rifle to protect property. That, you know, has nothing to do with the race of those people. Even though there's a video of him there's a video of him that the judge wouldn't allow being shown at the trial. But there's a video of him from earlier, not that day but early days before that where he posted a video where he saw someone shoplifting from a store who was black and he said how much he wished he could shoot someone like that.
Matt: That's just patriotism right there.
Brandon: I was actually thinking about something similar, not the Jimmy Dore thing but like we do have a problem I think with people is not the media broadly speaking but the way we characterize white supremacist violence or violence in the name of white supremacy or whatever nebulous concept that it's being branded as today as being something that is uniquely targeted towards the black community in such a way that's going to become cord in there. And so like even if you thought that those like victims were inherently black because that's you know mindset you were in. That really says I think more about how we're you know we're kept from the reality that white supremacist violence is often times the underlying you know along with misogynist violence the underlying ideology of the mass shooters that we see who kill people indiscriminately in this country.
Matt: Right absolutely.
Brandon: But you know that's kind of I think I think that I think is kept from us for reasons that are unrelated to whatever they were talking about because it's like well yeah if people felt knew that about white supremacy they might feel a little bit less like it's a problem for other people and more like it's just generally a problem for everybody.
Matt: Yeah right right so in that segment Jimmy Dore had on as his guest to walk him through everything because again Jimmy's not doesn't know the subject very well. I forget the guy who got fired from the Bernie campaign literally like the day he was hired because he did so he created some video in his past that came out that did not, you know, not a good look.
Emma: Weird hiring choices by the Bernie campaign in 2020.
