This does not mean that food quality isn't also a key part of your cutting diet as well - the fact is that calorie intake and food selection go hand in hand. In order to burn fat, don't take things to the extreme by focusing only on one side versus the other. Calories in vs. calories out is what it boils down to, but basing your nutrition plan around minimally processed whole foods will help you achieve a calorie deficit more effectively and is better for health as well.
