Results, Board Exam 2023, Winter Vacation, Improvement, Passing Marks & Grading System | All Updates

~ Boards are announcing Matric & Intermediate (1st Year & 2nd Year) results of 2nd Annual Board Exams conducted in October/November. Federal Board (FBISE) announced 2nd Year result on 05 December and 1st Year result on 09 December, 2022. Punjab Boards will announce Matric result on 13 December, 2022. Punjab Boards Intermediate 2nd Annual Exams Result is expected in first or second week of February 2023 after which the admission for 1st Annual Exams 2023 will be started.
~ Various Boards are planning to conduct 1st Annual Board Exams in April/May 2023. In this regard, Sindh and Federal Boards have announced that Matric Exams 2023 will be conducted in April and Intermediate Exams in May 2023. Balochistan Board will start Matric Exams from 03 March, 2023.
~ Winter Vacation have been announced by Sindh and Balochistan. The vacation are from 22 December to 31 December, 2022 in Sindh and the classes will start from 02 January, 2023. Balochistan has divided the vacation between Winter Zone and Summer Zone; 16 December to 28 February 2023 for Winter Zone and 22 December to 31 December in Summer Zone.
~ Lahore High Court has ordered the Punjab Govt to announce 3 Days Holidays per week. All Private and Public schools in Lahore shall remain closed from Friday to Sunday and classes will be held 4 days a week. This notification is valid till 15 January, 2023.
~ PBCC issued the notification allowing unlimited chances of improvement to all the students who completed Intermediate in 2019 or onwards. This policy shall be applicable to all Boards of Punjab. Federal Board has allowed the students to improve Theory paper only or Practical only. It is the choice of student to improve Theory, Practical or Both at the same time.
~ IBCC is going to introduce a new grading policy by 2025. The passing marks have been increased from 33% to 40%. Students shall be granted the grades as per their obtained marks and it will be CGPA system like in Universities.
