Published at : August 09, 2022
Certificate of Entitlement premiums for larger cars and those in the Open category have dropped slightly, under the first bidding exercise using a revised method for determining COE quotas. This is aimed at reducing volatility in supply, after premiums hit new highs in July. Premiums for smaller cars closed at $80,000. Premiums for larger cars the Open category dipped to $107,001 and $113,000 respectively. COEs for commercial vehicles rose to $56,089, while motorcycle premiums went up to $11,000. One industry representative said the slight fall in premiums isn't expected to last.
