Mini story of the life of William Quantrill. He was born at Canal Dover, Ohio, on July 30, 1837. When he was young, Quantrill helped support the family by continuing to work as a schoolteacher. Then He was moving to Fort Wayne, Indiana, in February 1856. William joined it briefly in the fall of 1864 during a fight north of the Missouri River. He met the Sarah Katherine King at her parents' farm in Blue Springs, Missouri. Although they never married, she often visited and lived in the camp with him.
