Navjot Singh Sidhu heaps praise on Imran Khan; What's Cong-Pak 'prem' secret? | The Newshour Debate

In this episode of The Newshour Debate, with Pranesh Roy, we discuss the controversial remark made by the Chief of Punjab Congress, Navjot Singh Sidhu, during his visit to Kartarpur Sahib in Pakistan. Sidhu said that Pakistan's Prime Minister, Imran Khan, is like his 'big brother'. He said this while meeting the Pakistani delegation in Kartarpur Corridor. In his 2018 Pakistan visit also he had made such remarks and called Imran Khan his 'yaar-dildaar'. Many of our civilians and army men are being killed by Pakistan’s terrorists and hence, the opposition has been questioning Sidhu’s statement. “If Sidhu is an 'anti-national' why is he roaming free?” asks Political Analyst Manasvi Thapar.
