Erdogan Orders Expulsion Of 10 Western Envoys Including US From Turkey Over Kavala Statement

Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has announced the expulsion of ambassadors of 10 Western countries. The expulsion came after the countries, including the US appealed for the release of Turkish philanthropist Osman Kavala. The envoys had called for a just and speedy resolution to Kavala's case and his ‘urgent release’. Experts say that if the expulsions are carried out, it would lead to the deepest rift with the West in Erdogan’s 19 years in power.
