What are the reasons behind the freely prevailing casteism in India?
The two main reasons which can be held responsible for the prospering of Casteism in India.

1.Vote Bank Politics:- The Political Leaders,Political parties sees caste as their way of magnifying their Business.
I can Prove you with the two examples

1.How congress party uses dalit caste as their means of capturing dalit vote bank for the upcoming elections in Punjab in the name of Charanjit singh Channi ,a dalit-sikh punjabi & covers about 34% of dalit-sikh community and the Congress party uses it as a masterstroke But later on Harish Rawat stated,that Navjot Singh Sidhu will the probable Face of the Chief minister of Punjab.

CONCLUSION:-Using Dalit Caste as a trap to win the elections once & if they manage to win the elections then Navjot Singh Sidhu will be the probable Face for Chief minister as stated by Harish Rawat Ji.

2.How Bjp Government fully demolishes the Case of Hathras where a 19 years Asha was Brutally Raped by 4 Thakur's of Uttarpradesh & Under the Governance of Yogi Adityanath,the Up police forcefully Cremate the body of Asha at 2:30 am
Conclusion:-As Yogi adityanath belongs to the thakur Caste so to Save the image of the accused who were also from thakur Caste He demolishes all the evidences by forcefully cremating the body of the asha.So cheap Politics & dirty politics all because of the Casteism.

Reason 2 :-Mental Slavery or Mental Shackles

Firstly there is no System like Caste system exist

Before there was Varna system under which Bhramans,Kshatriyas,Vaishyas & shudras.

Dalit were seen as untouchables and a whole different category but it doesn't mean that Dalit can't be as superior than Brahmans as they were not treated on their basis of their Homogeneity but on the basis of Skills,Rights etc

But Now a days people have given a different name "The caste system" where they are feeding the minds of innocent children with wrong belief that if you are a dalit then you cannot be as superior as Brahmans & your were made to think as small, inferior and low caste &
on the Other Hand if You are Born in a good intellectual Family then you feel yourself more superior than anyone else & you cannot touch the lower caste people & if they are working at your home then serve them in a different plate,they are not allowed to touch water.
