The Faculty of Computing of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University was established in 2015 with the dawn of the KDU Southern Campus at Sooriyawewa.
With the insight of providing the best academic experience to its undergraduates, FOC is well-known for being the first ever Computing faculty in the Sri Lankan State University system which offers the widest spectrum of Computing degrees under the discipline of Computing.🎓✨

All the degrees offered by the FOC have been benchmarked with international standards of ACM/IEEE ensuring the credibility of the faculty. FOC consists of four departments; teaching and research in theoretical foundations of Computing, engineering of computer software and hardware, mathematical and statistical requirements of computing and technological and social aspects of computing👩🏻‍💻🧑🏻‍💻

Apart from providing an international level academic atmosphere for its undergraduates, FOC strives to enhance student capabilities in research and intellectual capacity with the aspirations to produce skillful individuals to the nation.♥️✨
