Stranded Australians will be able to return once 80 per cent target is reached

Prime Minister Scott Morrison says more residents stuck overseas will be able to come home once Australia hits the 80 per cent fully vaccinated threshold.
“That means Australians will be able to travel in those states that are opening up, they will be able to get on planes and go overseas and come home,” he said.
Mr Morrison said only Australians who are “vaccinated with the vaccines that are recognised in Australia” will be able to return on the flights when the country opens up.
He also said caps at the airports for returning travellers will be lifted and expects consumer demand for flights to rise.
