Scissor Skills Challenge! 🤩 Some healthy and robust mirror neurons at work!

Toddler moves her mouth while practicing scissor skills, as if the scissors are an alligator and she's mirroring the alligator... which suggests a high ability to connect to another being's experience and understand their perspective and empathize with their feelings. This "subject" is a very healthy, connected, and empathetic young lady, nearly 3 years old. :) While this probably isn't a fair test to measure every toddler's psychological health, this finding does suggest strong mirror neuron functioning, and it just might be fun to try this with a toddler you know. :) If you do, please report back and leave us a comment!
