우리가 도와줬던 한국인 커플 기억나요?

when they had that car accident?
그들이 차 사고 났었을 때요?

The Kims? Sure!
김씨요? 물론이죠!

I bumped into them in the supermarket yesterday.
제가 어제 슈퍼마켓에서 그들을 우연히 마주쳤어요.

"I bumped into them in the supermarket"
"제가 어제 슈퍼마켓에서 그들을 bumped into 했어요"

To 'bump into' someone means
누군가를 To 'bump into' 뜻은

to meet someone unexpectedly.
예상치 못하게 누군가를 만났다는 것입니다.

They've only been in the country (for) a few months.
그들이 시골에서 몇 달 밖에 지내지 않았잖아요.

There's something shady about them.
그들에 대해 뭔가 shady 있어요.

"There's something shady about them."
"그들에 대해 뭔가 shady 있어요."

'Shady' means suspicious.
'Shady' 뜻은 '의심스러운' 입니다.

Why do you say that?
왜 그렇게 얘기하세요?

Bcause we chatted for quite a while,
왜냐하면 우리가 잠깐동안 얘기를 나눴는데,

but they seemed quite evasive.
그들이 꽤 evasive 보였어요.

"They seemed quite evasive."

'Evasive' means to be avoiding something.
'Evasive' 뜻은 뭔가를 피한다는 것입니다.

Whenever I asked them about family
제가 그들에게 가족에 대해 물을 때마다.

and where they've lived before,
그리고 그들이 전에 어디에 살았는지.

they just avoided my questions.
그들은 그냥 제 질문을 피했어요.

That does sound a bit fishy.
그거 좀 fishy하게 들리는데요.

"That does sound a bit fishy."

'Fishy' means suspicious.
'Fishy' 뜻은 '의심스러운' 입니다.
