So the oldest question in the book of getting gigs from the owner of the joint:
"Do you have a singer?" In an attempt to shake up the Englar & Englar repertoire I am now singing after not trying to in over 10 years. I sang in musical theater in middle school and with my Rock Trio from middle school through high school but nothing after Music School. I've played along with this song quite frequently and have always wanted to mess around with it, maybe make it heavier in some way. The main things I changed were the key (She sings it in Am, I sing it in Em), adding two fills in spaces where there either was no noise or where I couldn't hit the notes (you'll notice). I have to admit, even though I am confident in my skills as a Jazz and Blues Guitarist this song took a LONG time to master. From memorizing lyrics again for a nearly four minute song, to finding the right inflections, finding ways to incorporate some licks, etc. Feel free to leave some comments if you have any feedback. If you liked it, great, leave a like/comment and subscribe! If you didn't let me know what I can do to improve. I hope whoever sees this gets something out of it.
