Govee and SmartThings Working Together!

Let's get Samsung SmartThings and Govee working together and integrated. There's no official integration, but I did find an integration that's working for me with a number of Govee LED lights and light strips. This is impressive stuff and I'm surprised that not many people have tried this integration.

I have multiple Govee LED light strips and multiple Govee lights working with Samsung SmartThings just by doing these simple steps, and I'd say that the #Govee and #SmartThings #integration only takes about 5 minutes if you're working on it.

In order to get Govee integrated and working with Samsung SmartThings, we'll need some code. There are 2 snippets of code, and I sure did not make them.

The second URL is the Groovy code for SmartThings. It's here: https://github.com/uncdubdiver/smartthings-govee-led-lights/blob/main/govee-device-handler.groovy

From there, you'll need https://account.smartthings.com to get to the IDE and then you'll also need some Govee lights! Here's some affiliate links for products I've used with SmartThings already:
