Terms of Sale (abridged; full TOS available on request)

ANIMAL AVAILABILITY: Animals are sold when available on a first come, first served basis. .
PHOTOS: One or more representative photographs will be provided with the description/ online advertisement for the animal.
PAYMENT: I accept payment by check or money order. Send it by first class or priority USPS mail. Postal money orders are preferred; personal checks will be held to clear prior to shipping of animals. I do not accept Paypal or credit cards.
PAYMENT PLAN / DEPOSIT: I do not typically do payment plans and 100% of the cost of the animal(s) and shipping is due at the time of purchase. In some cases with very expensive animals and/or if the animal will not be able to be shipped for an extended period of time, then a payment plan with a deposit upfront may be possible.
PACKING: All animals are packed very carefully for shipment in individual bags or deli-style containers in styrofoam lined boxes approved for shipping reptiles. In cooler weather, heat packs are used.
SHIPPING: The safety of my animals is always #1. I ship by FedEx Priority overnight shipping through Reptiles Express to your nearest FedEx Ship center for you to pick up. I do not currently ship outside of the United States.
SHIPPING DELAYS: If the weather is too hot (over 90F) or too cold (below 40F), then shipping is not possible. During summer heat waves or the winter, it may be weeks to months for a shipping window to open. If this is the case, your animal(s) will be fed and given ideal care at no extra charge over the delay.
GUARANTEE: Live arrival of all animals is guaranteed provided you pick up at the FedEx Ship Center on the day of arrival. If you do not pick up the box on the day of arrival I cannot and will not guarantee live arrival. Please open the box as soon as possible after you pick it up and carefully inspect your shipment and animal(s). Please let me know ASAP of any issues with the shipment and/or animals and I will do my best to make everything right. If everything looks great (which I certainly hope it does), please let me know you are happy with the shipment. I guarantee that any animal I sell is healthy, mite free, eating voluntarily, was CBB by me (unless noted), will arrive alive and safe and should remain that way for a minimum of 24 hours after it arrives. I cannot guarantee the temperament of an animal or that it will be tame, but I will advise you on the current behavior and likely temperament if you inquire.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL: I do not accept returns on animals.
COMMITMENT: I am 100% committed to making your experience as smooth as possible. I care very much about what happens to my animals and want them to go to the best possible homes, and if possible, ultimately contribute to the future gene pool of boa constrictors in captivity. I stand by my animals and service. Included in the price you pay for one of my boas is my decades of experience keeping and breeding boas and other reptiles. I will help you with your housing, feeding, husbandry, breeding, and any other questions you may have.
Boas have specific needs. Please do your background research prior to acquiring a boa (or any other reptile), know how to care for it, and be prepared to offer ideal husbandry. There is a huge amount of information available online on reptile husbandry, including the hundreds of videos I have produced and made available for free on my “Brian Boas” YouTube channel. I am always happy to answer your questions on boa care, feeding, husbandry, breeding, and other topics. However, the care and well being of your boa is ultimately your responsibility, so please do not buy a boa (or any other animal) unless you are committed to providing it with a lifetime of proper care.
